What is Ovarian Cancer?

This type of Cancer refers to Cancer that forms in tissues of the ovary (one of a pair of female reproductive glands in which the ova, or eggs, are formed). The Budwig Center has found that in most cases the ovarian cancers are either ovarian epithelial carcinomas (cancer that begins in the cells on the surface of the ovary) or malignant germ cell tumors (cancer that begins in egg cells).

Symptoms And Signs For Ovarian Cancer

It is fairly easy to detect ovarian cancer because even in its early stages ovarian cancer has symptoms. Research indicates that some 95 percent of women with ovarian cancer had symptoms. Although the symptoms vary from woman to woman and many times depend on the location of the tumor and its impact on the surrounding organs. The Budwig Center has found that in fact many of the symptoms mimic other conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Our studies show that these are the common symptoms of Ovarian Cancer:

You experience bloating
You may have some pelvic or abdominal pain
Also you will most likely have difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
It is not uncommon to experience urinary symptoms (urgency or frequency)
