Below you will find a list of some our most commonly asked questions in regards to our alternative cancer therapies and wellness course.

How long will I need to stay in Spain for the full Wellness Program?

Our program is a two week program. To receive all the treatments, emotional balancing, teaching, etc most find two weeks is just right. We provide lodging for the full two weeks and that is included in the fee. People who want to come early or stay beyond the two week period will have to check with us to make sure the room is available and if not we will recommend hotels nearby.

How much do I need to pay in advance to be sure of my place at The Budwig Center?

We require 50% of the fee in advance deposit once it has been confirmed that we have a place for you. Once you arrive we expect the payment of the balance within a day or two.

Can I claim back some of the costs on my private Health care program?

The Budwig Center has no arrangements with any Health care schemes. However many people do have a type of insurance that pays them a set amount when they have an illness like Cancer and the person can go the clinic of their choice. We will provide you with an official receipt for the program which may then be used by you as you see fit once you return home.

Do you have beds and a place to stay right at the clinic or do I stay in separate accommodations?

Yes we have self-contained apartments equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom with 2 twin beds, living room, TV and or computer with WiFi. There is a grocery store and farmers market right next door. The beach is a 20 min walk and a 3 minute car ride.

How many hours a day do I need to spend at the Clinic?

On the average 4 to 5 hours per day for the Wellness program. You will have plenty to do in your apartment as there are juices to make, supplements to take, infrared sauna sessions and daily coffee enemas. We also encourage you to read over the Cancer Guide, complete Questionnaire on different therapies you will be offered. Daily sunbathing, walking the park nearby or down to the beach is highly encouraged.

Will I be able to tour Spain and sightsee as well?

During the two week intensive program you will have some time in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. You might like to check out some of the famous museums, like the Picasso nearby. Also you can take a double-decker tourist bus whereby you pay a set fee that takes you to all the famous sites in the area and you can get off and on as often as you like. If you stay a few days beyond the two weeks, you can rent a car or take a group tourist bus ride to other popular areas in Southern Spain or down to Gibraltar.

Will I feel sick and weak during my time at The Budwig Center?

That really depends on the state of health of each person who comes and how they react to the different suggested therapies and supplements. Normally we recommend you only experiment with therapies that are not too reactionary and wait until you return home to do others. We need you in good condition to follow the full Wellness Course. Adjustments may be suggested to help you if you are having some sickness.

Can I come alone or do I have to bring someone else with me?

Really it would be very advisable to always bring another person. Preferably a person that is willing to shop, make salads and be a real support. If you do get a little sick then this person is there with you. We provide you with mobile phone connected to the local Spanish network so we can constantly be in touch. If you are in fairly good health, have good energy, then you might consider coming alone.

What results should I realistically expect from the Wellness program?

This varies so much from person to person, the state of their health when they start the Wellness program, but having said that our usual experience is that everyone feels some improvement and change in their state of health. Some do feel more energy at the end of the program and others feel more tired. We actually expect you to take a lot of rest, exercise and really concentrate on the healing. If a person is tired that could be a good sign that the body has entered a healing phase. We insist that people look at this program as a 12 month program. Although we often see tumors shrink and other signs of improvement we always caution those who come not to expect great things in such a short time frame and realistically we need to look at 2 or 3 months before something really noticeable happens and six months to a full year before you are really on top of the Cancer.

The Johanna Budwig protocol which is the basis of our program has a 90% success rate, but a lot depends on adhering closely to our recommendations.

How does the Cancer Support program work?

Our support is on-going and we send you regular Newsletters and suggestions. Also you are encouraged to email or phone us with any queries or concerns you might have. Every two or three months it would be good to send a short update on your condition. Products and items you may need will be provided at the outset depending on which program you have chosen. Afterwards Budwig Center will continue to help you obtain what you need as you progress to better health.

Can I return for additional check ups after six months or more?

Yes in fact we encourage you to do so and changes may be made to the herbal remedies and protocol. More tests can be done and we can more clearly monitor your progress. We also provide you with contacts for a cancer market test that you can do on your own.

Can I have a doctor call me and discuss my situation further before making a decision?
